So you will see most people still using an automatic coffee machine even if there are easier to use coffee machine such as a single service coffee maker or one of those automatic grind and brew machines.

The automatic coffee maker is a upgrade of drip filter coffee machine. One that has been used by our fathers and perhaps even our forefathers (they started with just coffee filter).

As we grew up with the aroma of coffee made from an automatic coffee maker. Sometimes we cannot let go of the aroma and the image of peace and tranquility that goes with it which makes this machine popular even though there are better coffee makers in the market today.

Of course one should not discount that the automatic coffee maker is cheap. It is affordable and most of them would cost less than $50.

You seldom see the carafe coffee maker that would go as high as $100. Of course, there is the oster coffee maker which is a designer coffee machine and is one of the most expensive automatic coffee machine that exists today.
